From the Casting Couch to the Mallory Suite – putting a valuable face to METTLER TOLEDO Global Service

All the discussions in the run-up to this mammoth photographic project were about the journey – the journey for METTLER TOLEDO’s Service Personnel and the journey for their global customers as they experience the core principles behind each of the 4 Global Service cornerstone values - Compliance, Expertise, Performance and Uptime.

And that’s what the project became, in every sense. A hugely fulfilling, but challenging, journey for everyone involved, with notable milestones along the way: -

  1. The photo shoot casting process was held in London, 3 weeks before shooting began and was attended by Adrian Valert, Global Service Marketing Manager and Katharina Eck from METTLER TOLEDO Corporate Communications, Greifensee, Switzerland
  2. Unique models were selected to represent each of the 4 Service values – Ensuring Compliance, Trust the Experts, Improving Performance and Maximising Uptime
  3. Compliance was the real challenge and the final model to be selected. There were strong and often differing opinions about the right look and age range for the Asian model we required for this value – but we ultimately made the right choice!
  4. The first shoot was studio-based and took place at Jet Studios in London on 27th July with the four chosen models and Kin Ho as principle photographer. These shots will ultimately be used as cut-outs and as individual or team poses
  5. The second shoot was held at METTLER TOLEDO’s Leicester Office. The challenge for this 3-day session was to create the start to finish operational journey for the team members. These ‘situations’ were created using warehouse, lab and office locations on-site and involved 2 models for each day. Principal photographer was Charlie Ross from Monitoba.
  6. The third and final part of the project took place in the Mallory Suite at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester. We selected this environment to showcase Service expertise and training using a combination of models and MT Leicester staff members.

And the results are outstanding - just what you want to see when so much effort has gone into the planning, logistics, travel and administration to make it all happen. From Idealogy’s perspective it was notable achievement for Steven Barnes, Darryl Akerman and Account Leader James Surridge. But the journey wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging the help and support of METTLER TOLEDO’s Stephen Goulbourne, Andy Padmore, Dave McNeice and Jose Gomez. And last, but by no means least, we would like to thank Marriott Hotels.

Congratulations to everyone involved – it’s been quite a journey!
