Why an X-Blog beats an iBlog any day!

We’re all used to iThings; where technology’s concerned we know as consumers that the obligatory ‘i’ prefix is what we need.

‘A blender Sir’ - ‘no thank you’

‘An iBlender Sir’ - ‘I’ll take three of those please, and with iWhisk attachments too’.

See? Works every time. Replace the word blender with anything else you choose and you’ll want it more when it’s an iThing. iBeer (want), iBike (need), iKellyBrook (let’s not even go there!)

But it isn’t just 'i'. I’ve been reading a news article, this one:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-12485104

So this massive flare unleashed from the sun isn’t just a flare now, it’s an X-flare, which straight away sounds better, tougher and more dangerous, doesn’t it? And so it seems the biggest, baddest or most dangerous of things is an X-Thing these days.

Which got me thinking, when we’re all tired of i’s and of X’s, what’s next? Will your next phone be a tPhone, will your new games console be a pBox, and will the sun ever man-up and throw out a Y-flare, because whatever happens… I’m zReady for it!
