Christmas is a time for giving

For many a year now, companies have decided to for-go the tradition of sending Christmas cards or corporate gifts (or in some cases, both) and donate the money they would have spent to a charity of their choice.

Although we have sent out Christmas cards which a lot of you have enjoyed receiving (and thanks for great the feedback!) we have taken the decision to donate the money we would have spent on corporate gifts to two chosen charities.

The difficulty was deciding which charity to donate to so we put out a poll to the Idealogy team asking for their suggestions and there were two outright winners, both of which will receive a donation from us:

• Prostate Action funds research and education into all three prostate diseases: benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer and prostatitis. For more information, have a look at their website www.prostateaction.org.uk
  
• Pelican Cancer Foundation is dedicated to curing and improving quality of life for patients with pelvic area (bowel – colorectal – bladder, prostate) and secondary liver cancer through supporting clinical research and advancing precision surgery and treatment. And why have we chosen these two charities? Well, all we will say is that family is important to us here at Idealogy and we wanted to help the people we hold dear as well as being able to help others.
